This is me (Lisa) on the path to making myself a better mom, wife, and passive income entrepreneur.
Thanks for joining me here
Look at us go! We’re already on Week 2 of self-improvement!
Week 2: Strengthening Relationships
Building strong relationships with your loved ones is essential to achieving harmony between work and family life.
This week, you’ll focus on deepening those bonds with intentional reflection and action
Skip Ahead:
Day 8: How Do You Want to Be Remembered by Your Kids?
Your legacy is created in everyday moments.
Imagine your children describing you as a mom in the future. What would you love to hear?
Write about the values and memories you want to leave with your children.
Action: Choose one action to embody this today.
Day 9: A Love Note to Your Husband
Take a moment to express your appreciation for your husband.
What’s one memory with your husband that makes you smile?
Action: Write him a quick love note or text to share that memory.
Day 10: Reconnecting With Yourself
It’s easy to lose yourself in the busyness of life.
Write about what makes you feel like your true self and how you can nurture that.
What’s something you used to love doing before kids that you could bring back into your life?
Action: Schedule 10 minutes this week for this activity.
Day 11: The Little Things That Matter
Small, thoughtful gestures can strengthen relationships.
Reflect on the little things you do—or could do—to show your family love.
What’s one small thing your kids do that melts your heart?
Action: Capture it with a photo or in writing today.
Day 12: Supporting Your Husband’s Dreams
Supporting each other’s dreams creates a stronger partnership.
What’s a goal or dream your husband is working toward? How can you support him this week?
Write about how you can encourage your husband’s goals.
Action: Do one thing to cheer him on.
Day 13: Moments of Connection
Quality time is more impactful than quantity.
Write about a meaningful moment of connection with your family and how it made you feel.
What’s a simple way you could spend more quality time with each child?
Action: Plan one-on-one time with each child this week.
Day 14: A Letter to Yourself
Write a kind, encouraging letter to yourself as if you were your own best friend.
In the letter, celebrate who you are now and your journey ahead.
Action: Save this letter to read in six months.
Keep Going!
This week has helped you strengthen the most important relationships in your life. Continue nurturing these connections as you move forward.
As a Christian, work-from-home mom who has also let her relationship with God slip, I’m pairing this 50-day journaling challenge with a 100-Day devotional.
I highly recommend 100 Days To Brave by Annie F. Downs if you’re looking for motivation to take action during this difficult season of motherhood.
She also just came out with a Kids’ version called 100 Days to Brave for Kids: Devotions for Overcoming Fear and Finding Your Courage!
