Are you trying to generate passive income for your family while being present with your kids?
Do you work, even though being a stay-at-home mom is already a full-time job with unpaid overtime?
Are you worried that juggling too much (wife/mom/boss lady) will make you drop a few balls?
Same.

I’m Lisa, a WFHM with two little kids who need me constantly. I’m also a wife and a solopreneur.
Juggling these 3 most important jobs in my life is a challenge, to say the least.
Because, guess what?
- My 1-year-old still wakes up 2-3 times per night.
- My husband works night shifts and gets off at 12:30 am.
- I don’t have a dishwasher, so my “closing shift” before bed takes me about an hour.
- I have very limited time to work during the day (3 interrupted hours).
- At the end of the week, I feel like all I did was put out fires and pay bills and have no extra energy or money left over for the stuff that used to make me FUN.
I have every excuse to just roll over, turn on a movie with the kids, pour myself a glass of wine, and leave the dishes in the sink.
And I’ll be honest… sometimes I do.
But this year, I want to do better.
I want to grow my passive income because I have this DREAM where I get to be fully present with my kids while still making money…
Our finances are stress-free. We go to trampoline parks and frequent vacations, and my kids are enrolled in all the extracurriculars they want. I join a fancy gym with fun activities that my kids LOVE, which gives me time to work on my physical and mental health. I get to throw that expensive organic food into my cart without blinking AND pay for help around the house to help me meal-prep and deep-clean. I take a girl’s weekend once a year and unwind with my long-distance besties.
So this is me, on the path to making myself a better mom, wife, and passive income entrepreneur.
Daily Journaling Challenge
I’ve decided that journaling is a great place to start self-improvement!
I couldn’t find any journaling prompts that applied to me in this hectic season of life so I asked ChatGPT to write some.
Here’s exactly what I asked:
“Give me 50 journaling prompts for a work-from-home mom with small children who is pushing herself outside of her comfort zone to make passive income for her family which also allows her time to raise and be present with her young kids and husband. She feels pulled in all directions and has decided to use journaling as a way to center herself daily, practice gratitude, organize her thoughts, and motivate her to accomplish as many needle-moving goals as she can in as little time as possible.
Include prompts that will help her reflect on and strengthen her relationships with her kids, husband, and herself. Also include prompts that motivate her to succeed in her business goals, family goals, and personal goals.
Structure each journal prompt into 50 days of journaling, one prompt per day that will take about 5-10 minutes to reflect on. Give a short paragraph that introduces each daily prompt and gives an action step for her to take that will help her develop in one of these areas.“

PS- As a Christian, work-from-home mom who has also let her relationship with God slip, I’m pairing this 50-day journaling challenge with a 100-Day devotional.
I highly recommend 100 Days To Brave by Annie F. Downs if you’re looking for motivation to take action during this difficult season of motherhood.
She also just came out with a Kids’ version called 100 Days to Brave for Kids: Devotions for Overcoming Fear and Finding Your Courage!
