I’m Lisa, a self-employed wife and mom of two boys.
This year, I want to be better at all 3, so I created these 50 days of journaling prompts to set aside time for self-improvement.
Running a business is tough, but moms are tougher!
Week 4: Cultivating Inner Strength
Inner strength is key to staying resilient and balanced in your journey.
This week’s prompts help you identify your strengths, manage challenges, and build habits that keep you motivated.
Skip Ahead:
Day 22: What Keeps You Going?
Reflect on the motivation that fuels you on tough days.
Think back to a recent, particularly tough day. What got you through it?
Action: Create a mantra based on this motivation. (I have a mantra playlist on YouTube!)
Day 23: Handling Overwhelm
Write about one area of your life that feels overwhelming.
Action: Brainstorm a list of three ways to simplify it and reduce those feelings of overwhelm.
Day 24: Building Confidence
Write about a recent challenge you overcame and identify three strengths you used to overcome it.
Action: Add those 3 strengths to a place you’ll see often, to remind you how strong you are! (Ideas include sticky notes on your laptop or the lock screen of your phone.)
Day 25: Aligning with Your Values
Write about your core values.
How does your work align with them?
Action: Adjust one task on your to-do list today to align better with your values.
Day 26: Morning Energy
Write about your ideal morning routine. Visualize it and break it down, minute-by-minute.
Action: Choose one new habit to try tomorrow morning.
Day 27: Energy Drainers vs. Boosters
What drains your energy and what boosts it?
Identify at least one daily activity that drains you and one that energizes you.
Action: Eliminate or reduce one energy drainer today.
Day 28: Prioritizing Self-Care
You can’t pour from an empty cup!
Write about one self-care activity you’ve been neglecting.
Action: Schedule it this week!
Keep Going!
This week has been about strengthening your mindset and habits. Carry these insights into your daily life to stay grounded.
As a Christian, work-from-home mom who has also let her relationship with God slip, I’m pairing this 50-day journaling challenge with a 100-Day devotional.
I highly recommend 100 Days To Brave by Annie F. Downs if you’re looking for motivation to take action during this difficult season of motherhood.
She also just came out with a Kids’ version called 100 Days to Brave for Kids: Devotions for Overcoming Fear and Finding Your Courage!
If you purchase through my Amazon affiliate links, you’ll buy me a cup of coffee at no extra cost to you. This is a small part of my path to passive income for my family, so I appreciate you being here. 🙂
