Mess-Free Heart Painting
For a Valentine’s Day card that is 100% made by your baby, you might want to consider this fun painting activity. By sealing the paint inside a Ziplock bag, you completely avoid the mess and the stress of your little one putting paint in their mouth!
Supplies:
- Card Stock (Or Other Heavy Weight Paper)
- Paint (This one has glitter in it as well!)
- Gallon Ziplock Bag
- This Free Printable
Instructions:
- Print out your free valentines.
- Squirt paint on the reverse side of the page (not on top of the text).
- Slide your page into a large Ziplock bag.
- Let your baby squish the paint around the bag. (This is a great activity for tummy time if you tape the bag to the floor or a book in front of your baby!)
- Cut open the bag or slide your paper out, let dry, then cut out your hand-painted heart valentine!
LOVE Footprint Art
This one is for the crafty moms out there! It’s a really cute way to save your baby’s footprints for years to come. This craft works great as a Valentine’s Day Card or you could frame it and give it as a gift!
Supplies:
- Scrapbook Paper
- Card Stock, Canvas, or Posterboard
- Non-Toxic, Washable Paint
Instructions:
- Cut out the letters L-O-E from the scrapbook paper of your choice.
- Paste onto card stock, canvas, or posterboard.
- Paint your baby’s feet and stamp them in the shape of a “V.”
- Frame or gift!

Some inspiration for your baby’s photoshoot from my best friend, Pinterest:
L-O-V-E Feet
If you’re better with a camera than with scrapbook paper, this L-O-V-E photoshoot is adorable as well! Again, you can use Canva.com to write the text over your photo once you’re finished. (Great project for naptime!)
Giant L-O-V-E Letters
This is another cute option. Just cut the letters out of posterboard and let your baby strike a pose!
Cupid Outfit
Such a cute Etsy find! This outfit speaks for itself.

Easy Handprint Valentines
I know that making cute handprint valentines can be a lot of work, especially if you’re sending them out to grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends…
When I was working full-time at a daycare, I used to send handprint and footprint crafts out to the parents for every holiday. Well, to make my life a little easier and to make the crafts a little cuter, I came up with these printable crafts which I now use for every holiday with my son.
They make great keepsakes in his baby book!
